TAKING WORK

Custom market-data systems, built to your spec.

Snack Code designs and implements custom data-consumption systems — scanners, alert bots, dashboards, and analytics pipelines. Scope and execution are determined collaboratively, sized to the input, function, and output you actually need.

01 / scanners

Real-time scanners

Multi-timeframe pattern detection across price, volume, volatility, and market structure. Your methodology, your thresholds, your timeframes.

02 / alerts

Alert systems

State-aware alerts with throttling and conditional logic. Built to feed your workflow, not flood it. Discord, webhook, email, SMS.

03 / dashboards

Live dashboards

Web-based, mobile-responsive companion views for the trading day. No installs for end users — just a URL. iPad, tablet, phone, desktop.

04 / bots

Community bots

Custom Discord bots for trader-educators — scanner output in real time, admin commands, daily summaries, audit logs.

05 / pipelines

Analytics pipelines

Backfill, transform, and surface market data on your terms — bars, options chains, volatility, internals, broker feeds.

06 / llm

LLM synthesis

AI-generated briefings using your methodology, with audit trails and source citations. Built to inform, not replace, your read of tape.

How engagements work

01 · discovery

30 minutes, no charge.

If the project is well-defined we move to a Scope Note. If it isn't, a 5-hour Discovery Sprint ($1,000) produces one — credited toward the first block if we proceed.

02 · scope

Written before any work begins.

What we'll do, what "done" looks like, what's explicitly out of scope, and the estimated effort. You see it before money changes hands.

03 · block

Pre-paid 10-hour blocks at $200/hr.

Work begins when payment lands. Additional blocks bought as we go, with your approval each time. Unused hours roll forward indefinitely.

04 · update

Every Friday, in writing.

Hours used, hours remaining, what shipped, what's queued. Two paragraphs. You always know where the meter is.

05 · exit

Kill clause — any time, no penalty.

Either party can decline to start a new block, for any reason. You hire one block at a time, not a contract.

06 · ownership

You own delivered code.

On completion, the code is yours. Snack Code retains the right to reuse non-client-specific patterns. Confidentiality runs both ways.

Send a short note describing what you're building toward.
